"Peter Rice & Company just completed a new barn/garage attached to our home and gave both the interior and exterior of our home a beautiful "facelift". The entire experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering a home project or new construction.

Peter was extremely organized, communicated well with us and has the most wonderful crew of highly skilled craftsmen working with him. Our barn project was fairly complicated and had changes throughout the building process. We worked with Peter and his crew as a team and always felt that they responded to our questions and concerns and we tackled issues together. The quality of building and attention to detail is like no other we have seen, and we felt that the crew often went above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect of their work.

Our house project included new shingles, shutters and windows on the exterior and new and refinished hardwood floors, remodeled and custom built-in cabinets and new lighting on the interior. Peter's team arrived on time, were so pleasant to have inside our home for many weeks, and did the best quality work we have ever seen. Additionally, they were very considerate of the fact that our family was living through the construction process and kept the job site extremely neat and organized. Over the wet bar in our new dining room, we hoped to put in a genuine porthole.  It was an odd request -- one of a kind.  This porthole was to be inside the glass front cupboards that hold the various sizes of cocktail glasses.  The porthole objective was that when we reached for a glass, we would also be able to view parts of Casco Bay.
