Peter B. Rice, Founder & Principal
Peter has been in the construction trade since 1975.  He began by working on small homes and one-man projects.  In 1984 he founded his own company, Peter B. Rice & Co.  Since that time he has maintained a tight-knit group of employees and managed hundreds of successful projects.  Peter has long felt attention to detail and good communication are the cornerstones of successful building projects—qualities he’s instilled in all his employees. 

When not sailing his Catalina 36 in the summer months, he volunteers his time and talents as Head Trustee at South Freeport Church. Peter lives in Freeport with his family. 

Dave Rice
Dave was originally trained in the boat building industry in the 1970s—where he did fine carpentry.  Dave joined Peter’s carpentry crew in 1981 and learned the trade the old fashioned way.  His breadth of experience makes him very well rounded in his carpentry skills.  Dave lives in North Yarmouth with his wife and college-age son.

Maslen Flett
Maslen joined Peter’s crew in 2000, with 12 years of carpentry experience under his belt.  Since joining Peter’s crew, Maslen has become a highly skilled finish carpenter and cabinet-maker, responsible for some of the most challenging projects.  Maslen lives in Gorham with his wife and two daughters.

Linwood Osgood
Linwood joined the crew in 2007 with excellent finish carpentry and cabinet–making skills.  These skills allow Linwood to complete complicated cabinet projects with ease.  He has brought cabinet spray finish know-how and helped us renovate our cabinet shop to include a spray booth.  He also has in-depth stone countertop experience.

Stuart Rice, Estimator / Designer
A graduate of Western New England College with a communications degree.  Stuart is responsible for putting together proposals, designing custom cabinets using specialized cabinet design software, maintaining and updating digital blueprints using current CAD programs. When he is not working in the office on current or future projects Stuart is in the field assisting the crew.

Marc Katz
From “Filling to Financials”, Marc does it all! Marc joined our company in February 2010 continuing to keep the office running smoothly. Marc has extensive experience in the industry working with small to medium sized companies.
